Citizens Advice and Sure Start
Sure Start is the government programme to deliver the best start in life for every child by bringing together early education, childcare, health and family support. Sure Start covers a wide range of general programmes as well as many targeted on
particular local areas or disadvantaged groups.
Charnwood Citizens Advice Bureau has formed an alliance with Sure Start Loughborough East to provide advice on a variety of topics at the Sure Start Centres in the Loughborough area.
If you need Advice or Help with:
- Benefits — We can do a benefit check which may help to improve your income.
- Family and Personal — Relationship breakdown? Parental rights and responsibilities? Enquiries in this area can involve a number of complicated, linked problems. We can help to clarify the issues.
- Housing — Having problems with rent/mortgage arrears? Landlord refusing to do repairs? We offer knowledgeable advice on Housing matters.
- Money Advice — Finding it difficult to deal with finances? We can help maximise your income. Help you draw up a financial statement.
- Employment — Problems with pay, unpaid wages, holidays, dismissal, redundancy and so on? We can help you identify your statutory and contractual rights and much more.
