Citizens Advice Charnwood were at the Saturday market in Loughborough on 9 November. Thank you to all the people who kindly donated and 'had a go' on our Tombola.
Despite the cold and rain the Tombola attracted many visitors and happily most of the prizes were won. Citizens Advice Charnwood is a charity for the local community and the money collected will help keep the service open.

CALM, Citizens Advice Local Movement, is a new scheme being launched by volunteers at Citizens Advice Charnwood. They say that anyone can experience problems at any time and that getting the right advice and support can stop problems getting worse and help people find a way forward.

More than 350 people have been helped by the Citizens Advice Bureau in Shepshed - with 35 per cent of concerns relating to benefits.

Chairman of Charnwood Citizens Advice Bureau, David Rodgers will be running the Brighton Marathon to raise money for the charity based service on the 6th April.
