What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?

If you have an appointment and you need to change or cancel it please ring 01509 221220. (This is not a general advice line).

If you are going to be late please telephone 01509 221220 as soon as you can. If you are going to be a few minutes late we will try to keep your appointment available.
However, if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late it is likely that we will need to reschedule it for another day.

If you are not able to attend your appointment please telephone 01509 221220 as soon as you can - this will allow us to give your "slot" to someone else. If it is your first cancelled appointment then we will try and give you another appointment as soon as possible.

If you miss TWO OR MORE appointments
If you have already missed one appointment we hope that you will make every effort to attend a second appointment. Please be aware that if you fail to attend a second appointment then we will assume that you no longer need our help.

If you subsequently contact us, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer you another appointment. You would need to access our walk-in service again.

If you miss THREE OR MORE appointments, or continually refuse our advice
then we may exclude you from our service. This will only be done in the most serious of circumstances and we will always notify you in writing if we intend to do this.
