In a year dominated by the coronavirus pandemic, we were still there to help people find a way forward

For our previous 80 years as a service, the main way people have come to us for one-to-one advice has been in person. But, with 2020 and our 81st year came the pandemic. We went from working together and supporting people face-to-face to working remotely — almost overnight. Our national services, 272 local Citizens Advice services, staff and volunteers switched to giving advice from home, and supported 1.1 million people to find a way forward with their issues.
